Sandwich construction

Located between the upper and lower layer of fiber on the core of the board is a sidewall made of ABS synthetics that has been integrated to directly transmit pressure from the bindings onto the edge without loss of power. This makes the board even more responsive, providing maximum edge grip and the smoothest ride possible.

Fullcap construction

In a Fullcap Construction, the upper layer and the topsheet material is pulled down to the side to meet the steel edge. This is a great feature for kids and beginners, making power transmission less direct and thus enhancing playful riding, while minimizing edge catches. Fast progression guaranteed!

Flat-Area top construction

In this construction the upper layer is flattened in wide areas next to the sidewall. This makes power transmission on the edges more diffused, providing smooth and forgiving riding characteristics as well as some weight reduction and a unique look.

Slim-Tip construction

In contrast to conventional sandwich construction, the Slim-Tip Construction incorporates a solid, shock-absorbent urethane inlay in the nose and tail, which reduces weight and centrifugal mass, making the nose look slimmer and enhancing rotational characteristics of the board.

Convex Slide Base

This base is rounded towards the edges, with the edges suspended in the air. This prevents edge-catching when sliding on boxes and rails. The forgiving characteristics also add extra riding fun to the slopes and more lift in powder through reduced friction.

Blunt Nose Geometry

For this special shape, the nose is built a little flatter with the sidecut adjusted accordingly. This increases the effective contact length of the edges, hence you can ride smaller boards with the same bite of a much longer board. This construction also provides less centrifugal mass, improving the whole board feeling and making spins smoother.

Tapered Nose Geometry

This tapered shape was developed especially for freeride boards and shifts the widest points of the nose and tail towards the middle. This is combined with an adjusted sidecut, providing short effective edges that make long boards ride like shorter ones. This new, flatter construction offers even more float and flex than regular powder nose shapes and also adds a very safe feeling to freestyle moves in the backcountry. It might take a bit of getting used to visually, but has excellent riding characteristics with effortless lift in the crust or in changing conditions off-piste.

Pointed Nose Geometrie

This geometry is particularly interesting when combined with camber, which traditionally delivers less float in powder than rocker. Thanks to the square outline, sudden edge pressure during a turn (for example when riding from powder into crust) is passed to the back of the board. The straight, square spot cuts through wind-blown snow and lifts the nose up. This reduces pressure and prevents the front of the nose from digging in.
