If I cash 1.000.000€ in the lottery then...

I would realize my dream and marry a young 18-year-old model that looks like Natalie Portman or Rosie Hunington-Whitely and employ Berta from Two and a Half Men for the household.

An Affair to Remember...

That TV Interview for a German TV Show right after some intense days at the ISPO. The poor girl doing the make-up had a tough job to hide the traces of the long parties at Munich and then the studio... there were so many flashlights and cameras all around me. I was so crazily tired and then the hot TV presenter in that tight jeans caught the rest of my extant attention... so it wasn't easy to answer the questions.

What means snowboarding to you?

Snowboarding is where I feel free and where I can live my creativity to the fullest! Working on my style, learning new tricks and having a good time with friends in nature - nothing can be compared to that!

Has your life changed beeing a snowboard pro?

I got even more lazy than I was before and I skip classes to go snowboarding. I really love travelling and seeing different places.

What kind of rider are you?

I'm riding everything and try to push my limits in every terrain that's how snowboarding never becomes any kind of boring. For park- and piperiding I use the benefits of the squad prime camber shape and for backcountry the selecta is the ultimate weapon.

Your signature trick & favorite obstacle?

I like fs spins off my toes as it gives me the opportunity to get the maximum pop of every jump and helps me to get into the landing whenever speed is an issue.

Which trick do you want to learn next?

I've already done some fs 14 and so try to make that a standard trick for contests and same thing for swbs 14's that I want to learn the next season.

The place to be?

Dachstein in summer and autumn, after a long winterseason or summer break that's the place to be to meet everyone again.

What kind of style is up to date? What trick is done?.

I think bs or swbs spinns with a different grab than mute like nose or tail is pretty sweet.

How do you motivate yourself and learn new tricks?

When I see other riders killing it or when I listen to good songs I get motivated to try something new. Before I drop in I first go through the trickin my head over and over again till I can imagine each part of it.

You had any dangerous situations on the mountain so far?

During a shooting I had a pretty unlucky crash, hitting my right knee in my mouth. So from now on I'm wearing a teeth protection. I know that looks stupid but after 2 weeks of just "eating" with a drinking straw I changed my mind.

What do you like most about Völkl Snowboards?

Everything! The boards have an amazing pop and I like that they listen to riders inquiries so they can improve the products and get better and better every year.

Highlights of last season?

Ending up 4th place at the Pleasure Jam after a month injury break and just 2 days for getting some feeling back felt so great. I didn't set myself under pressure for the first time and it worked out.

Blue bird & perfect conditions – who should be in your riding crew?

I don't ride with other people... I'm an ego so just want to ride with myself.

The best Snowboard trip ever was...

The one last year to New Zealand was incredible! I still remember the beautiful landscape which was so different from everything I've seen so far and of course the wild parties ;)

What stuff is in your backpack when you head up to ride or travel?

I hate packing and so I always do that in the nick of time whether it's for riding or travelling. I run through the house searching everything I could need and often forget the important things like gloves, sun cream or something to drink.

What is your favourite contest & why?

The Shred Down Austrian Masters in Innsbruck this season were pretty nice, although I don't get to ride pipe that often I've just learned it during the practice day and then the next day even got 3rd place in the end with a pretty sweet run. So I'll spend more time in pipe next season.

What do you do when you are not riding?

Surfing gets close for me to snowboarding, it's such an incredible feeling catching a wave or just enjoy the time in the ocean.

Besides that I have to do the beautiful things in life, which are jogging or biking for hours and do workouts in the gym.

In five years I want...

to finally have a moustache, it's so embarrassing that bastard doesn't want to grow!

Although I've worked so hard on one it looks more like a milksop :(

Besides that I dream of having a nice girl, getting married, planting a tree, having little dwarfs, become a henpecked husband and driving a "Pampers Bomber" as we like to call big family cars in Germany.

Huge thanks to Gloryfy, Rockwell and particularly to Völkl Snowboards for believing in me and making this season possible!
