When being confronted with Rocker and Camber, you sometimes get the feeling that you are spoilt for choice. That's why we built the Xbreed, a hybrid board that connects both 'worlds': Camber between the bindings, Rocker in nose and tail. Thanks to the Camber Shape you get more control and edge hold than with a Rocker board. At the same time, the Rocker makes the board more playful and provides more float than a Camber board. The result: high speed runs on the pro kicker line will feel as easy as first lines in bottomless champagne powder. Thanks to the True Twin-Tip Sidecut, switch riding is no problem at all. And our newly developed Blunt Nose Geometry grants this short, playful board the same edge hold as a board with a few centimeters more length. Also all-inclusive: a lot of pop for adequate airtime, a Shock Absorber for proper toughness and, and, and... Our conclusion: A board for freestylers that are looking for the best performance in any terrain.
The Hybrid Shape is the perfect symbiosis between Rocker & Camber Shape for many riders. In other words: The Hybrid Shape is positioned just between Rocker and Camber, featuring the advantages, but also disadvantages of both worlds. Thanks to the soft camber in between the bindings, Hybrid boards ride precise and direct. The soft Nose & Tail Rocker makes them playful and offers more float in the powder than a Camber Shape. On the other hand, you have to accept that a Hybrid Shape doesn't ride as playful and forgiving as a Rocker Shape. Furthermore, a Hybrid Shape doesn't provide the same pop, the same smoothness and the maximum edge hold as a Camber Shape. In short: A Hybrid Shape is playful at low speed and more stable than a Rocker Board at high-speed runs – a board that feels short, but offers the edge hold of a longer board.
