We know that a single snowboard can’t save the world, but, as the saying goes, from small acorns do mighty oaks grow. That’s why the Yavana is crammed with as much “green” technology as possible: minimal use of resin and other toxins; a base mainly made of recycled material; wooden sidewalls with dampening; a hemp/canvas topsheet – all together these save more than 400 grams of plastic! Needless to say that we worked as hard on the performance side of the board to create the perfect all-mountain weapon. The Yavana’s new directional freestyle sidecut allows progressive riding in the backcountry, on the slope and in the park. It offers strong edge hold for carving but, at the same time, is soft enough for some serious jibbing! To put a smile on your face on powder days, we equipped the board with a Pin-Tail / Rocker Shape for maximum float.
