STEEL EDGES WITH RUBBER INLAYS

HRC 48 is the best compromise between durability and easy maintenance. The steel edges on all Völkl boards feature a stronger edge profile and additional shock-absorbent rubber inlays to improve edge grip.

DIAMOND FINISH

A diamond finish is now standard on all our boards (except those equipped with a Convex Powder Base or Convex Slide Base). The edges are ground so that they extend 1° down from the base and 1° out from the sides. The diamond finish not only makes the edges more durable but also provides maneuverability and great edge hold in icy conditions.
