If I cash 1.000.000€ in the lottery then...

I would do some amazing travels and take all my family with me.

An Affair to Remember...

My travel trough Mongolia. I had the chance to see a completely other side of this world and to get to know people witch live far away from everything we think its necessary for living today.

What means snowboarding to you?

Snowboarding is freedom. It's a sport which lets me be creative, there are endless ways to play it. I can be outside all day long and have fun.

Has your life changed beeing a snowboard pro?

I have much more time and opportunities to snowboard and that’s the best thing about it.

What kind of rider are you?

I like to ride in parks. Slopestyle courses the most. For that I prefer camber boards. I also love to go out and ride in backcountry, find spots in backyards or build kickers. Sometimes I have a rocker board ready for actions like that.

Your signature trick & favorite obstacle?

I love nice big jumps and to do a switch bs 180 over it.

Which trick do you want to learn next?

Bs 900 and a double backflip

The place to be?

Laax is pretty awesome. There are a lot different opportunities to ride and you can find everyday and with every condition something good to ride. In spring I went to Livigno and thats also a park I like very much. The jumps are just great and the Pizza soo good.

What kind of style is up to date? What trick is done?.

Long grabs and bones are so good. Some tricks are really old-school but there is no way that they are uncool.

How do you motivate yourself and learn new tricks?

Friends always motivate me to learn new tricks. Good sessions in good company are the best thing. When I'm having fun I always feel like pushing my limits. I usually imagine new tricks first in my mind before doing them.

You had any dangerous situations on the mountain so far?

Yes, while freeriding: there was a bit a misunderstanding between me and the filmer. I landed on a rock and fell over it and dislocated my shoulder and crashed my elbow. The good thing was that after that accident I had time to finish my diploma work for the art school.

What do you like most about Völkl Snowboards?

It's great that we can bring our opinions and ideas to the products and help to develop them. The communication between Völkl and us riders is very good. I also like Völkl engagement with the legacy label clothes with fair & bio organic fashion.

Highlights of last season?

This spring we had a photoshooting as the wet shoes crew with Chris Daehler. We went from Laax over Livigno to the style session in Saas Fee. We could ride amazing parks and build good spots. We had so much fun with the crew and amazing weather almost every day.

Blue bird & perfect conditions – who should be in your riding crew?

The awesome wet shoes crew of course :-).

The best Snowboard trip ever was...

This fall I went with Andrea Binkert to Breckendrige for snowboarding. It was my first time to America. We lived at the best place with the best house crew and the best whirlpool. Snowboarding was great.

What stuff is in your backpack when you head up to ride or travel?

For riding just suncream and picnic. For traveling I take an analog photo camera with me. My skateboard and my macbook, some clothes of course and all I need for snowboarding.

What is your favourite contest & why?

My favourite contest is the Champs open in Leysin. It like the location and the set up. Also that it's cobinated with art. The atmosphere is always great. This year I was still injured and could not properly ride the contest but had a good time being there.

What do you do when you are not riding?

At the time I'm doing a lot of sport, we also have of snow summer training with swiss snowboard. I also enjoy to skateboard during the time I'm not snowboarding. I'm also doing some jobs and art projects, there is always something to do.

In five years I want...

Snowboarding is so important to me right now so that almost all my goals within five years are around snowboarding. Snowboarding also means to me to grow personally, to learn a lot about this world and to enjoy it. I have some other goals and wishes for my life but lets talk about that in five years :-)!

Thanks for all the support of my sponsors and thanks to my friends and family for everything!!!
