The crisp, cold weather in Levi, Finland kept the pipe in good shape with some sunny spells that kept the mood motivated and buzzing. Twenty-five girls dropped into the halfpipe and the battle for the top spot on the podium was fierce.
It was Swiss Elena Könz who came out victorious with the highest score and she rode home with part of the 10 000 Euro prize purse and 500 Swatch TTR Ranking points, moving her into the TTR World No. 24. Elena Könz's winning run included a huge lean air, backside air, fronside 360 melon, a switch nosegrab, frontside 540 and a backside 360. She was stoked after her win, and said, "I'm so happy, it was a really fun session and the pipe was good. I was surprised to see how many girls were here, and everyone was so motivated and friendly. For me, what also makes the event special, is the location in the north of Finland, where the scenery is amazing, and it was fun to ride so late into the night under the spotlights!"
