You probably have a nickname!? Tell us about the funny story behind!
Gumka, let’s translate it as a Gummibär… comes from my gymnastic skills and seems to be pretty funny every time I explain it to someone new.

Do you remember your first day on a snowboard?
Yes, I had a cowprint board with skiboots and it was 115cm long and when I wanted to turn I sat down and turned the board over… It was about 10 years ago in Slovakia and it was raining but anyway was cooler than skiing.

How did you learn new  tricks back in the days?
Just thought “I wanna do a ….” And tried thousand times until it worked out..

Why did you never stop snowboarding since then?
My brother was the first one to snowboard and it was so cool to do what he had done… Meanwhile I fell in love with the feeling of learning new stuff!

You probably have visited a bunch of different ski resorts already. What is your favorite place, what was the most exotic and where would you like to live and ride in the future?
Every time I look back to Big A Camp in Val Senales I have a big smile on my face… Funny times, and my first ever park riding. ‘Exotic’ resorts I visited would be La Molina in Spanish Pyrenees and Snowpark NZ. But I look forward to living in Innsbruck and riding anywhere in the Alps!! I also would like to go to powder riding in Japan and would be cool to ride snowparks in US .

You  also must have seen tons of snowboard videos in the past. What’s your favorite video part and why do you remember it?
Old Peter Line parts were cool back in the days but my all time favorite would be Eero Ettala’s  part in Lost in transition.

Let us know about your favourite trick! Do you have any specials in your trick bag?
Hmm.. The tricks I would like to do for the rest of my life when I have to choose would be any straight air in the pipe with good amplitude. And fs3 indy or japan air on the kickers.

What do you like most about Völkl Snowboards?
Cool and technically advanced boards, cool people and surf camp of course;) !

What about entertainment? Let us know about your gigabytes of MP3s and videos!
Hmmm… Plenty of snowboard videos, lots of rock and electro music, but I’ a total reading freak and I always travel with few books in my backpack.

How do you make your stomach happy? You for sure have some favorite drinks and food!?
Veggies and fish, especially in sushi! When I like to impress someone with my cooking skills I would prepare a tomato soup and salmon with spinach. And for drinks Zubrowka with apple juice is my favorite right now.

What was your best experience so far in life? Can you explain a little?
Snowboarding and everything it comes with. Travelling, depending only on myself, being responsible for every action I take, self-managing, getting into troubles, getting out of troubles, friendships, lots of fun, how to make a dinner for 2 for 5euros, sleeping on the floor in different places, getting around the Alps with a travelbag and a boardbag without a car… getting free liftpasses for no big reason, speaking English and German…

And finally what is your biggest dream?
Fall in love ;)
