It’s the unification of many strong personalities that makes for such an unbeatable team of riders and which helps each and every one of them go big. The SQUAD team consists of the world’s best allround riders with great style, podium-winning pipe rippers, slopestyle jibbers and spin masters. When they are riding together they push each other to take their snowboarding to the next level and into a new dimension. The SQUAD team riders travel around the globe all year round in search of the everlasting winter and all-new challenges. Along with photo and film shootings for international snowboard movies and media they take part in international freestyle contests of the TTR World Snowboard Tour and Invitationals.

SQUAD is the international pro rider team of VÖLKL Snowboards. The name stands for progressive snowboarding as well as for the most innovative freestyle boards on the market. Together with the SQUAD team riders Völkl has worked on new technical innovations for the SQUAD line in 2008/09. You will instantly recognize the twin tip sidecut and a progressive nose-geometrics witch is extremely bowed up. The unique Triax-Lite-Topsheet & Slim-Tip-Construction make these boards super-light. The advanced Horror-Shock Absorber, integrated towards the nose and tail, helps you to cushion hard landings and makes all SQUAD boards extremley break-proof and durable. Tests in the race-laboratory and our team proof it! Our riders did not crack any SQUAD board in the nose & tail area last winter!
