I´m sorry but there is no funny story about the name “Rob”
Do you remember your first day on a snowboard?
Yeah it was in 93 when I moved to tirol. I already had a board and was so keen to go riding but the season didn´t start yet. Then finally it snowed so I grabbed my stuff and hiked more than an hour uphill to make my first snowboard experiences and that was luckily in powder!
How did you learn new tricks back in the days?
It was more like watchin a sb movie and trying to copy the guys who were in the movie.
Why did you never stop snowboarding since then?
Well I kinda did for two seasons when I had to move back to Vienna and didn´t have a car. Not really stopped but reduced the amount of days on snow to a Viennese standard. When I made my driving license everything changed!
You probably have visited a bunch of different ski resorts already. What is your favorite place, what was the most exotic and where would you like to live and ride in the future?
Favourite place is hard to say, always depends on the conditions and the people you are with. I´d like to live somewhere where I could ride snowboard, surf and motocross within a drive of 20 minutes!
You also must have seen tons of snowboard videos in the past. What´s your favorite video part and why do you remember it?

Favourite food is asian and drink is Red Bull Vodka
What was your best experience so far in life? Can you explain a little?
Fortunately there were a couple of those, but the best ones are those which you experience together with your best friends or family.
And finally what is your biggest dream?
To live a happy life!
